I'm thinking 3.5/130", unless I can get a shot at my "chin strap" buck (3 or 4 points on one side, deformity on the other that curves down and under his chin)...

I passed on a couple of 120ish bucks last season... and ate tag soup! Hoping not to repeat but I'm sticking to my guns again this season :tu:

With a bow I'm shooting the first legal buck I get an opportunity at. With a gun I'm much more selective.

Pressure! The PRESSURE is killing me. lol

I did just put up a stand today on a new farm that I didnt even hunt last year. Lots of scrapes already. I put up a couple of cameras and crossed my fingers! If I win the contest for you, you gotta get me an elk or bear or very large ground squirrel. Deal?

My wife saw him when se was working on the neighboring property. Atleast she thought it might be him. She said" he was huge and had lots of those pointy things":D
I hunted there on Sunday, that was the first time I was there since March. Trying to keep it pure until it's time.

I have lines.... I always strive for my best buck to date but have a hard time passing 3.5 yr olds
I have but they are usually Rob bucks. ...I know, I know. LOL But I have no qaums about eating tag soup like last year hunting one specific animal
In last years case he was a 140 plus 10. Maybe I'll see him this year. ;-)

I usually start the season holding out for a 150+ buck and that size starts dropping after the rut and the season starts winding down ... by the last weekend if it's brown it's down just for some meat.

    Goal is a 160 or 5 1/2,

But if that super heavy, narrow rack, tall tined buck comes by, I won't be able to resist.

X2 - I don't sit in the stand and try to guess size/score, I look at the deer and decide whether or not to release.
