I'd down him for what it is worth. He's no younger than 3 1/2 IMO...others are touch better than me aging though...you have any past years pictures to compare to?

He's got a nice rack working there. Looks to me more like 3 1/2 than 4 1/2, looking at the snout and neck bones and musculature, but that's my opinion.

He is a great looking buck. I think he is 3 1/2 as well.

I'm even more on the 3 1/2 boat then I was before, dude is a great young specimen and honestly I'd be willing to arrow him this season...even though my goal is always the 5 or even 6 1/2 year old range.

You gotta let him walk why? Because your lease has a age limit, you personally or does he not score enough? Just curious as to reasons not blasting by any means.

think he is 3, cause he wasn't born in the winter. look for round eyes, heard lee lakosky speak this weekend and he judges deer by whether they have round or squinty eyes, and how long there legs look.

Well I own (Nevermind the bank owns) where I live and hunt..I have been putting out food plots and trying to do a better job of managing the herd and letting non mature bucks walk..He would be hard to pass up but I guess you go to let the 140's walk to kill the 160's...I have killed a couple 140's and am going to try hold out for larger bucks...Not trying to be some super star hunter just trying to let them reach there full potential...

Hey man, more power to ya! Love the discipline. If I had a decent amount of ground I'd be more app to do the same. My one new property has the best potential for 140+ whitetails and I'll be more likely to pass good bucks in hope of a SOLID one there than my other spots. Good luck man!
