When I first started shooting, I shot with one eye, but after watching a couple of bowhunting shows and seeing that they shot with both eyes. I tryed it and my accuracy seemed to improve some, so now I shoot with both eyes open. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk 2
I have heard of other people doing it in the past. I tried it and it was ok. I can see the advantages of being able to shoot with both eyes open. I am right handed and I have a dominant right eye. I never lose sight of the target so I see more of the deer when I look through the peep sight.
Yeah i have the same problem as Van. I tried that and shot a tree 2ft from my target, quit trying that. Broadhead still in the tree.
I just started shooting with both eyes open this week, and WOW! i shoot 100% better now! I'm grouping at 50 what i used to group at 30! I'll never go back!
When I was younger I was told to open both eyes to shoot trap for better accuracy and target acquisition. I do it with everything now.
