    Hey Guys,
Any of you experimented with shoot through mesh in blind windows?
How true did the arrows fly?
What kind of broadhead and fletching combo worked the best?
    I appreciate your input!

The past 2 weeks Ive been shooting through open windows with Thunderheads out to 40 yards regularly. And I shoot through mesh out to 40 yards a few times a week just to reasure myself the mesh wont affect arrow flight. Shooting through mesh made zero difference with the broadheads Im shooting, but thats all Ive ever tested with was Thunderheads, and Ive honestly only shot about 2 dozen arrows through the mesh, but that was good enough to satisfy my curiousity.

Im not big on blinds but a buck Ive targeted has changed his pattern te past few weeks and I have no trees to get it where Ive seen him traveling the past 2 weeks along a creek bottom loaded with huneysuckle below a corn field, so since hes not coming to me anymore Im going to him. Game on

The one and only time I ever shot through a mesh window was at 50 yards with a field point.

"I just wanted to see what would happen!" , Which is what most people say when they act out a stupid idea!

Didn't see the arrow, just heard it smacking off of limbs as it flew through the woods behind the target.

Pretty much the results I expected with a field tip.

I may attempt a Muzzy at closer range next time!

I've had one bad experience tryinh to shoot a 2 blade rage through a net. Had a nice gobbler at 12 yards. I don't knopw what happened, but my arrowed did not fly true. I missed this turkey so bad that it took me about thirty minutes to find my arrow. Something through my arrow off by at least 5 to 10 yards. I will never attempt to shoot any expandlable through a net.

I have shot through the mesh with Muzzy 3 blades and blazers. Its seams to have no effect on flight at all. I sure its has less resistance than a whisker biscuit.

Ky/Jody I was told by a good friend that he had been practicing/testing with Rages through mesh and also had some go way off target, not all, but enough to make him go to a fixed blade where he hasnt had any more issues shooting through mesh. Ive never shot a mechanical through mesh so I cannot give any personal input, only what I was told, but I could see where a mechanical may cause some problems shooting through mesh.

Yeah. As much as I love my Rage 2 blade I dont think I would shoot them through mesh. I am thinking a slick trick Mag or Grizz trick may do well.......

I guess the only way to know for sure with whatever tip youre shooting is to try it yourself if unless your blind is already out in the field.

Yep. Gonna pull out one of my blinds today. Just thought I would check with y'all to see if it is even worth trying. You know how you hear this and that and then it runs out to be bogus... Hey! Just looked into your ultimate camo link. I'm diggin" that! Most of the camo nowadays is just one company trying to out do the other to the point that none of them look like what they "need" to look like! Gonna be placin me an order. If quality is up to snuff I can see replacing a whole bunch of camo. Thanks!:nana:

I have shot my slick tricks through mesh without issue. You're not supposed to use mechanicals through mesh.

Sounds like it works pretty well, I've always been afraid to try it. May have to give it a shot this year
