I shot a big Wisconsin Buck Last night. Lost blood after about 700 yards. watched him run off with arrow and lighted knock sticking out. A lot of blood most of the way. is this a dead deer?

    Thanks

Did you recover the broke off shaft? How much penetration? Angle off the hit? Did he bed at all? How long before u started to blood trail? 700 yards tells me he will be fine imo.

How long before you took up the track? If it was a lengthy amount of time( 6 hours...all night ect ect) and you took the track 700 yards and he didn't bed, you didn't find your arrow ect ect. You might be dealing with a live buck....
We kinda need some more info.

How much time did you give him before you started tracking? It all depends on the angle of the shot and like the other guys said, how much penetration occurred. I hope you find him
