Starting my 8yr old girl on some targets. She's really exited. Yes I know her form is a bit off, so is the dl and dw. She's got my nephews old Bear youth compound. I brought down the dw a bit. If she sticks with it, Dad(me) will buy her something worth shooting. maybe a Genesis or Mission. unless Prime comes out with a youth bow.JK
Ya. She's my wild child that doesn't want girls softball and violin like my 11 yr old. She wants to sling arrows! And I am proud. I'll have to get here more pink "camo".
Great stuff! Love shooting with my daughters. I would also be sure to look at the Diamond Infinity Edge. Great bow for kids and with a draw weight from 5-70lbs will last her as long as she wants.
Good for both of you. I love shooting with my daughter. Won't be long and she'll want to go shoot some 3D and carry her own bow to hunt with you! Do some checking around, and see if there is a kids league in the area (local shop, 4H, JOAD). That has been a big deal with my daughter, she loves to shoot and visit with friends at the weekly kids league at the shop. It has been huge in her enjoyment and development as a shooter.
