My little banjo playin pommy mate Dave's bow is just about finished. She just needs a few more coats of finish and the information written on her. Here are some updated pics I just took. Mesqite belly. The Pecan butt overlay. Axis Deer antler tip overlay, Dave opted to pay extra for the antler tip instead of Pecan/Phenolic tip overlays. Here is how she is gonna look when put together. I also still have got to put the felt on the riser under the limbs but thats the last thing I do after she gets buffed with 0000 steel wool and paste wax.
OMG , she looks frickin Gorgeous . I'm seriously impressed mate , glad i opted for the antler tip overlays and that grain looks wicked . Russ , just when i thought you could not impress me more .... You've done it again Buddy . Seriously , how can you not be impressed
Here is a quick put together look. Sorry about the photo quality the pic was taken inside with no flash, when I used the flash it washed out the colors. I'll get some better pics and post when she is finished and basking in the sunshine
Wow , looks way better than any compound bow i've ever seen ( Damn i'm glad i went Trad ) . Fingers Itching .... cannot stop them , these pictures are just teasing me so bad . She may not be a Bonjo , but she will play sweeeeeet music .
Russ, Now that she's a four piece bow, do I have time to make him some cute little lamb limb bolts? I'll get cranken!
Mark. Been waiting for you to order a bow so I can do another build a long:D Just kidding mate thanks for the kind words.
