Sheriff was called...

Someone called the sheriff on me this evening, for "trespassing" on land I have permission to hunt. AKA land that who ever called on me doesn't have permission to hunt.

All this caller did was waste his, my and the sheriffs time (and tax payers money) tonight.

It is a never ending cycle, I swear.

 

That sucks did the cop blow your hunt or did he wait until you were done?

 

You have the worst luck with the people you run into in the woods. I don't know how you maintain your cool.

 

I didn't get the cops called on me but the neighbor's kid came walking into the woods tonight while I was hunting. He showed up at 5:00 PM and then was walking out at 7:10 PM just as activity was picking up. As he closed in on my stand the blowing broke out all over the place and all I heard was hoof beats heading away from my area. Well, at least you got the police issue out of the way. If he calls again they'll blow him off.

 

That sucks, Scott .. what the heck, man ... you have a real doosh bag there ....
(I cant believe the proper spelling of doosh is blocked ..lol )

 

Dang, just yesterday I was groaning on the phone with you about cops that are trespassing in our spot and you get this. Just another day for the bbk

 

Scott, My lands you have to deal with this crap every year Im sure its getting very old to! There are jerks out there for sure! I really hope it gets better for ya!

 

Damn Scott...you sure do catch alot of flack for jealousy over there. Screw em.

That totally sucks. Are the cops going to say anything to the person that called?

 

That sucks. Same thing happened to myself and some buddies 2 years ago. We had written permission to hunt 25 acres in the middle of a bunch of developments. Some lady comes out yelling, "hey you hunters, you better leave, i'm calling the cops". That cop was a tool bag and i got to ride in the back of a cop car. No deer killed though

 

It is a constant struggle keeping my cool.

I used to let these things really piss me off, but that didn't help my situation. Honestly, I basically just roll with this stuff anymore.

 

No that the sheriff mentioned. he said it was "a concerned citizen" who called

 

I'm surprised they even responded to check out the situation. I hope you're luck improves!

 

Sheriff's deputy was called on me last year..........looking for meth or pot growers. Deputy just did an ID check and all was good. Hope you don't have to put up with it all season.

all i gotta say... is the day that he killed that slammer last year... he was gonna ditch cuase the 4-wheelers were so bad xD
