I would normally be a little concerned seeing a man holding a sawzaw next to a bow but you obviously know what you're doing. The work so far is beautiful. I'm not a traditional archery guy but I can sure appreciate your craftsmanship. Well done!

Haha, the sawzaw was a joke picture. You just don't take power tools to a coveted antique bow like the 1964 Bear Kodiak.

I still have a bit more tweaking to do but it shoots well from 18yards. Shooting dots

very nice work. I still have the 1972 48" Kodiak magnum that I bought myself for Christmas. Bear made nice recurves...

    Thank you.
A Kodiak Magnum is 52", a Super Mag 48 is 48". I hope you don't draw anything past 28" because that bow will stack up something terrible.

Looks awesome! I knew you tinkered around a little from your posts elsewhere but I failed to realize how involved with it you get. Beautiful work!

    Thank you.
I just finished making a set of arrows for it. Hopefully I can get a nice deer like I did last year.

Beautiful work on that bow and the arrows. Nice deer from last year and good luck to you for this year.

How do you like those GT Traditionals? I was looking at them the other day, but they seem a little on the light side.

They're actually heavier than many others. You can also put weight inside to increase the total weight without changing the spine. I used paracord.
    All I shoot is GT.
