Too many dead bucks, found 4 in 2 days! One I am disgusted with one; I was hoping would make it (double main beam). Also found a good three year olds match he is nice ten and some other dinks....going again this weekend still have some big boys that havnt dropped and should anytime! I also posted trail cams of the dead buck and one that has a jacked up right side(cool story on this one found his match tangled in barb wire two years ago and had some skull plate still attached to the antler hense the oddness of his shed) Any body else seeing some late drops this year??

Shed hunting is all about persistance and knowing your bedding areas! Thats where I find a majority of mine!

Congrats. Awesome finds. As far as the late dropping, I think that's the same thing that is going on here too. I've been seeing several bucks still packing both sides and have heard of others seeing some nice deer still having both sides as well.

not sure where you are at in Kansas, but im in the southeast part (woodson county). Ive got mature deer holding onto both sides as of march 11 (last time I checked cams), spikes and forks holding one side, and only two bucks on cam I can identify that have shed both sides. The younger 2 and 3 year olds seem to be a 50/50 mix of holding both, and holding one side. I've found four dead heads also this year. Mainly near water sources, I think the EHD problem with last years drought may have been a little worse than what was expected. Good luck the rest of your season, and congrats on the sheds. I'm sorry to see that triple beam buck, he would have been a real trophy!
