    not too sure if it is a good source of food, I grow the sugar beets for the seed and they are as dry as bark dust by the time I harvest the seed. I have grown sugar beets for 8 or 9 years and this has only happened once....I usually find one or two but not this many and all in a 40 acre field...nothing too spectacular compared to what you guys find but, its what I got so.... beggars can't be choosers

    I just uploaded the pics to my computer and deleted them after uploading. can't find what happened to them now. supper is ready so maybe after supper or maybe tomorrow
