This is totally crazy! I took this picture on 11-05-09 and now just started to really look close at them. I think that the set I found this year is from this buck. What do you all think?

I don't think it's the same deer. Look at the end of his left beam, there is a little "crook" to it. Your sheds show an even scure to them.

It is absolutely the same deer for one look closely at the nipple point above the burr on the left shed. Same as pic. Also the 5x4 frame same sides as pic. Also the snow shoe beam on the left shed and the straight beam on the right the same as pics. I would say based on these photos it is the same deer for sure........

What are you guys seeing that i'm not? I see what your talking about with the sticker on his left horn, but thing that is throwing me off is the wave at the end of the beam. I think a picture of that area could clear it up for me.

Perhaps i'm just being hard headed tonight, lol

I will get a picture taken of me holding the rack like it would be on the bucks head and post that one tonight. Hope that it works out.

The little sticker off of the left base looks the same...just hard to tell from the pics...if it's not the same deer they are very similar.

    Not him

I do not believe it is him. The tines look bladed somewhat on the left beam of the deer. The shed's tines are too round and that left beam is not the same at the end. The tines are also appear to be longer based of the pics provided. They are similar but it is not the same deer.

    I'd say yes.
Usually you don't get such a disparity like this. People are 100% yes or 100% no. Very odd.

IMO that is his brother, very similar racks indeed, but the left side is the give away. The space between the G2 and G3 is too narrow. The G2 on the buck picture angles back a bit, on the shed it angles forward. The curve up at the end there is no hitch in it, and the shed antler appers to have more mass. The G3 is longer in the picture of the buck than the G2. The G2 is longer or same size in the left shed antler. It could be daddy:)

Note the sticker on the G2 of the shed antler, I don't see it on the buck.

This is the first "is it him or not" thread of 2010, let the season begin!!

You might be on to something there Gary. I'm thinking too now that this Is a different buck possibly. Definitely related though. Good eye's!!

After looking at them a little closer I dont think it is the same deer. If you look at the G2 there is a small nipple off the middle of the tine! I dont think the end of the main beams are the same either. They are very close also with the likes.
