Welcome! Looks like we got a full team now! If you get some time tell us alittle about your self. Good luck on the house. I have sold a few and some can be a big headache!

Still awaiting word whether or not I'll be going. I was supposed to fly out this morning but they don't need me up there yet. For the time, I'll be working out of my philadelphia office (outskirts), but we have work that takes place all over the east coast. I would be coming through your area if I hit up my jobs in WV.

Well, guess it is between myself and TK ... I don't mind being a team captain, I just have never done it before!

It's easy, nothing to it. The only thing you have to do is post a score card for the team, and keep track of the sheds the team finds and post it once and awhile. I have done it a few times if you have any questions. The shed contest is a easy way to get your feet wet on taking a captains position.

It's not hard, nothing to it. Just ask questions if you need help.

I will be out tomorrow at sometime. My buddy picked up 7 last week and only 1 wasn't fresh. So they are dropping and it's time to get out there!

Found one coyote hunting this morning. I was so excited to find it I didn't think to take a picture of how I found it. [IMG]

Went out for a walk today, but it was snowing more than I thought. Ground was mostly covered by the time I got in and well covered when I left. Exercise but no sheds.

My dad was glassing just behind our farm and counted 120 deer in an 80. Our numbers are looking good after about 10 years of gradual incline, the only downside is he said he could still see some holding.

Walked several miles last weekend. No luck. Now we have snow, with quite a bit more coming in the next week. Will be doing some coyote hunting, maybe I’ll see one....but I suspect my best shed hunting will be in a few more weeks once the snow melts off.

yeah, I walked a lot of miles yesterday with no luck. I checked a couple cameras myself and the deer still have their antlers. I'll be busy for a little while in February due to work, but hopefully can make another trip in a few weeks.

How many acres do you guys have access to? I have about 8-900 on my lease then plenty of public land that surrounds me. I've yet to walk any of it but it's there if I want to try it.

I have about 1500-1600 acres of private property's that I'm allowed to shed hunt. But most of it is very tough to find sheds on , lots of big woods! I find most of my sheds on public land.

It's good to see lots of you guys got out last weekend. I got hit with a nasty bug and spent the whole weekend in bed. I should be out this weekend, they should really be dropping now!

Well, we have over a foot of snow right now. It will prob be a couple weeks before I can really do any shed hunting. Good luck to the rest of you that are out there !

We got a bunch of rain coming this weekend, and I have a couple sets of friends that need help moving this weekend as well, so I will not be in the woods. More than likely will be a couple weeks before I am back in.

We just had about 5 inches of snow this week but I'm going to go for a hike anyway. You never know unless you try I guess. Question for you guys. Do you guys carry and rifle when you shed hunt? I have gone with guys who really frowned on having guns along and I have also gone with guys who say you never know what turns up. The guys who don't care to have guns along are avid hunters, they are more concerned about the extra weight. My thought is there is always the possibility of a coyote or other predators popping up.

I have access to about 300 yards of private ground and some public areas as well. Will try to go out this weekend and poke around. I do not carry a gun while out but would not bother me if someone did.
