Well I was planning on going out shed hunting for the very first time today. And just my luck its stormed here all day, not only that a cold front is coming through and its suppose to turn to snow. Well I'll try again next week.
Crappy man! It poured here the other day and things were already a bit soggy to begin with. I was actually happy a cold front came back through. Helped firm things up a bit I hope! I feel your pain. I've only been out three times, but I think I am gonna have to wait another week or so before I can go out again. Good luck, I hope the cold front doesn't bring as much snow as you think!
No rain in the forecast for this weekend and temps in the 70s...yep after the snow fall this past weekend we will have 70s!! I'll finally be able to get out and do some shed hunting!!

I got out both Friday and Saturday for about 6 hours total. No luck but saw tons of sign. I'm going to go back out after work this week some now that the time has changed. Some cool things happened though. I jumped 8 deer in there and also came up on a group of about 8 hens. The neatest thing was I walked up within 10 yards of a jake that was bedded down. In two weeks he would've been on the ground! Oh yeah the temp got to 75 both days. Much better then the 40s :d
Good deal man. Glad you finally got out. I know you have been talking about it as of late, but haven't had things pan out. I have been shut out of the crop fields for a while now, a place I was REALLY wanting to hit again since all of the bucks have dropped. I don't know how much rain we have gotten in the past few days, but I know for certain it is a sloppy mess out there right now. Good luck this week!
