When you think is a good time to start searching for sheds...end of this month..next month...havnt really put to much in to shed hunting up till this year... What kind of success have you had and what are good ways of finding sheds?
I don't start finding many until late February, but I start looking in late January. I follow heavily used trails in and out of bedding areas.
I try to wait til at least late February. Pushing them to early can lead to the deer shedding on property I cant access. Last year I saw bucks still carrying in April.
