Started the offseason with getting a QAD ultra rest, NAP Killzone COC and shooting daily. I got a look at the herd in the area I hunt. There's a 4 point that I have my eye on. Planning on setting up some trail cams in some different areas. What I'd like to know is now a good time to shed hunt? I've never done it but wanted to know if now would be a good time?

Yes. I live in Middle Georgia and found sheds as early as December

I would start now but don't go anywhere near the bedding areas until late March or early April. Concentrate on the food sources now.

NGa, picks from yesterday still carrying. I believe it'll be a while yet. But then again, I suck at she'd hunting

for the most part in GA you are best off to start hunting sheds around the first of march... some will drop earlier but the majority won't start till march...pick a cloudy day they tend to show up better..check known trails, feeding areas and yes even bedding areas it won't matter this time of year...
