    I postponed my first trip for two reasons, I heard there were a lot of bucks still holding out on the western part of the state where I was planning on going, and I got a tattoo on my chest that my pack would have upset quite a bit. I stuck around closer to home this weekend and found a BEAUTIFUL piece of public that I will be hunt and shed hunting quite often in the years to come!

    Weather permitting, I will be in SD this coming weekend. This is the trip I am most excited for this season, tied with the trip to the Rockies in mid-may.

    in 2017 we found 34 sheds in SD, in 2018 we found 3. Lets hope this is a 2017 year!

    Just looked it up on Accuweather.... You have got to be kidding me. This has been the worst weather for shed hunting I have ever had :lol:

    I got out on saturday but did not find any antlers.

    This weekend I will be at two different shed contests, hoping to add double digits to my count!

    I have been slacking on here quite a bit. My shed season is long gone. I have picked up 3 since the last update. Bringing my total to 30 for the year. Well below my goal but that's how she rolls sometimes. Here is my 30th shed I found with my girlfriend on Easter. You can't tell it here but its actually a really nice antler.

    We won the derby, set a record for the derby at 19 sheds, and did it all on foot while have the teams had fourwheelers and every other team had more than one person!

    Also found 2 on saturday, making my season total 27 so far!
