Put on some serious miles this weekend and all me and the dog could come up with was a few dead heads and this nice shed from a 2 year old. I am excited to see him this summer. I spotted the shed from about 20 yards away and sent Ruck down wind of it, and he picked right up on it and brought it to me . I think he saw it rather than smelled it but regardless I am excited with his progress! This is my 8th of the year, pretty behind from where I am usually at near the end of February.
Well I am supposed to be headed to west river SD on Friday for a couple of days but not sure I am going to make it looking at the forecast. This winter has been nothing short of just crap.
I will be west river SD in about 7 months! Most likely sweating after mule deer, rather than freezing.
Very cool area! I'm postponing my trip a couple of weekends. I'm hardly west river though as i'll be in the Winner area.
I have a buddy that moved out there a couple of years ago. Don't get to see him too often so I try making it out there every winter/spring for a couple days of shed hunting and beer drinking. My biggest sheds so far came from out there.
Sounds like a blast! Was planning on making it out to Montana this spring for sheds and coyotes, but things will be to busy unfortunately.
Hey everyone! Will be hitting up hard hopefully in a couple weeks. Got about 2 feet of snow burying everything here
My plan was to be heading up to Northern Mi. Today to shovel 4' of snow off my dads cabins roof. Him and i had plans to leave at 8 am. At 10 minutes to 8 he text me and said he was running behind about 30 min. I decided to stop by a little section of woods by his house and walk and 5 minutes later picked up another monster 4 point. Im posting this from the passanger seat of his truck, ill measure it later but its pushing 65-70" Sent from my SM-N920P using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
