Yesterday at the fire base we were burning off a few old tree nursery beds. I found a nice 4 point shed in good shape. I stashed my trophy after I properly taunted my coworkers. Two beds over the guy discing perimeters finds the other side. The guy really wants the other side to have the complete set. How far should I go to make the guy pay for the other side? I don't want money for it heck I will probably give him the shed but want to push and taunt the guy a little, that's what friends are for.
The guy has worked for the Wildlife division for over 30 years he does not deer hunt but he loves sheds. He has an old grummond sport boat I have wanted for years I might just tell him that boat has be part of the trade for the antler.
This. I would just give it to him if he wants it bad enough... What do you plan on doing with it if you keep it?
It is a 4 point with a broken off brow, it was either a big 3 year old or a smallish 4 year old buck based on the other bucks in the area. What would I do with it? Put in on the ledge in the living room like I do with all the sheds, and the guy who wants the shed would do the same he has over 30 years of sheds at his place. I was thinking of throwing in a 1963 Johnson 3hp with the original canvas travel bag in trade for the canoe.
You all do realize he is kidding, right? (At least that's how I took it) But, I went to PetSmart over the weekend. They had TINY pieces of antlers for $25 and up from there. I'd say dinner and visitation rights
