After only 6 months in my new house, my wife caved and let me hang my deer head in the living room! In my old house I had a "Man Cave" in the basement where all of my taxidermy and European mounts were displayed, but I am not going with a room like this in the new house. I couldn't believe it when she said that the deer head would look good over the fireplace! Within 5 minutes the screw was up and the head hung. You can see it from the road, so the whole neighborhood will know that a hunter lives there.

Now I just need to work on getting the dog... :nana:

Sweet! My wife gives me one wall in the living room to hang dead stuff on. She gets the rest of the house.

You all would crap your pants if you saw this house.
4 bull elk, 3 mule deer, 3 whitetails, 1 full bobcat, 1 bobcat plet, 1 bear rug.
And thats just in the living room, the kitchen has another elk and another whitetail.

    Nice.

I get nothing upstairs, but the whole basement is mine. Fine with me. It's going to look like a lodge when I'm done with it.

LOL! AWESOME!! Are you married? Got any pics?

I really think you can have taxidermy throughout the house and it look very tasteful and classy.

I once went snowshoe hare hunting with this dude that was single and he lived in the city of Buffalo. Inside his house looked like a hunting cabin! Plus he had a kennel of 8 beagles. It was a sweet bachelor pad, although it might have contributed to his single status!

If texting were around when I was in high school, I'm sure that would have been a very popular one. :D

I only have one deer mounted, but it does hang proudly in the living room. :)

No way my wife would let that happen! I get the garage, but nothing dead is allowed in the house. But your setup looks classy.
