Have a question on sharpening mechanical blades. My son shoots constantly and practices with his 2 blade bloodrunners. Does anyone know how to sharpen these blades?? Pretty small to use a stone, was thinking a leather strop or something like this. Any ideas would be helpful.

    Thx

I sharpen the blades & tip of my Rage BHs with my Smith's sharpening kit.

Not sure on the sharpening but I would recommend your son get some BloodRunner practice heads to use on a target rather than dulling the one's he would use for hunting.

Or he could keep using the current blades for practice and buy new replacement blades for hunting.

I find my time more valuable than the money it takes to just buy brand new replacement blades. Also the reason I switched to a Havana knife, I have 100+ razor sharp blades ready to go, when one dulls pull it off and put on a new one.

Just a tip that I do when practicing with Broadheads. I only use 1 of the heads so the rest are sharp to hunt with. I use the rage mechanicals and use a mini crock stick to sharpen them. works great and its a cheap sharpener.
