I am working on an archery project and am looking for suggestions on a test shaft for my device. IBO states: 30 inch draw, 350 grain arrow and 70 pound draw weight. My machine will have a 25 inch power stroke and I am calculating efficiencies surpassing that of state-of-the-art compound technology today. The use of an over-draw rest will allow for a shaft length of 27 inches. It is my belief my design will produce the equivalent thrust as that of a 78 pound draw bow. Remember the 350 grain max weight, no fletching or vanes required and please, no explosions!
