I can trade in and keep my payment the same for either:
    Chevy Silverado 4x4 Ext Cab
    Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Access Cab
    Honda Ridgeline 4x4 Crew Cab

How would you use the truck? Do you haul a lot?

If it were me, I would get the Chevy, then the Toyota. Never was a fan of the Hondas...

I haul with my truck all the time. The only thing I don't like about the Silverado's is they have V8's and claim 16-21 mpg. That's what my 5 cyl Colorado gets.

Tacoma I had 2 from 2001-2006 and loved them never had one thing go wrong with either of them mechanically. I wish I didn't need bigger trucks to plow with and use for work. Tacoma is too small!!!!

A guy I work with has a 2011 GMC Sierra, and it gets 16-17 driving in the country (mix of highway and gravel roads)

I've owned Chevy's for a crapload of years and always liked them, but to be honest I like the backup camera on the Toyota and the bluetooth on both the toyota and honda. I read the honda is weak in the towing area, so that's a minus for it. Will hold my final decision for Thursday when I drive all three.

No you don't. If they tell you you have until Saturday.... they're just trying to get you to sign by Saturday. If you went back in Sunday or Monday or next month and told them I want the Saturday deal.... they'd give it to you. If they didn't you'd start to walk and they'd say... OK. If you don't do it by Saturday.... they'll probably sweeten the pot if you don't act anxious. It's all a game. You have more power than you know except maybe with the Tacoma and Ridgeline You're comparing REAL trucks and baby trucks. LOL I want one too. Make a deal for 2. LOL

The Chevy deal with $11K plus tradein ends September 30th. I know the owner of the dealership and have so for close to 20 years. He told me this is to clear the majority of 2012 models and come October 1st, it's done. Not only that, October 1st opens deer season here, so I am done Saturday (dealerships aren't open hear anyway on Sundays).

The Toyota does have more options and is $5K less than the silverado.

Wish I could help you Iowa but I am partial to Dodge myself, helps that my 04 2500 4x4 with a cummins is paid for. IMO, unless you are trading to cut down on the gas bill, I would stick with the bigger truck, you will have more room, more power and larger towing capability with the Chevrolet. I don't know about anyone else but I need the room for carrying all of my crap when I go hunting. Post some pictures of what you decide on.

Miles per gallon is part of the decision process. I have one bass boat I need to tow and that'd be 'bout that, I also want something I can haul feed and seed.

I would (and will eventually) choose a toyota over a chevy. I'd love to support Ford, but they are just too much more money, and they loose value at twice the rate as toyotas.

My F150 is for sale and I am going to TRY my best to exercise self control and drive my camry another year...although I wouldn't be surprised to find myself in a new Taco next month either lol.

Regardless, the Honda Ridgelines are the Prius of the Truck world, no one wants one and everyone snickers at them as they drive by.

Use the internet and start a bidding war. You can really haggle them down that way and you get everything "in writing." I got like 12000 off my new F150 back in June.

I had a Toyota 4x4 with a 4 cyl 22R engine that got 22 MPG... tops. Then I bought my K Blazer with a 5.7 and also 4x4 which would pull a house and it got right at 20 MPG. Smaller doesn't necessarily mean better mileage.
