Along with regular maintenance like oil and air filter changes the fuel filter drain valve behind the fuel filter on Fords 7.3 has been known to need changing. Four star bolts in a tight area caused a tool modification that got the job done. The small drip was easy to detect and could be smelled in the cab. Sixty dollars and greasy diesel soaked busted knuckles will solve this issue but the close quarters tool is up to you. Motor On!
HaHaHahahaha... Thanks but No Thanks Brother, I threw it in the tool crib just in case there is a do over but so far so good. This fix should get another 140k and by then I am willing to bet I will have lost that little contraption.
