Hello everyone, I recently just got a Canon xa20 and have been playing around on it a little bit with the settings. Before I had a Sony cx550 Handycam so of course there were not many options for adjustments. I hunt at night a lot with red and green lights and was wondering what settings have yall found to pick up the best for filming at night using colored bow or gun lights?

last night I adjusted the settings to 24 dB with 1/30 sec shutter speed. Then I set the scene to portrait and also the snow setting. These seemed to pick up the best. I also tried the low light setting which picked up the best but was very slow to refresh when anything moved. I have only played around with it for one night so far but wanted to see what everyone else was using to see what might work best.

Also, what settings are yall using for filming right before dark and early morning when all the big deer move?

I appreciate all of yalls help and opinions, thanks
