I have a connection with a friend of mine that wanted to know if I wanted to buy one of these cameras because he could get them at a discount. I checked online first and saw they were selling for between $279 and up but he said he could get them for $229, so I bought one. Just set it up this weekend and got this picture. Nothing crazy good about the picture itself, although it is a quality pic, but the cool part is that this pic got sent to my cell phone immediately after it was taken. I tested it several times before using it and I had a text within 30 seconds of when I walked in front of the camera. How sweet is that! No more going in and disturbing the woods to check cameras. I saw this picture as soon as I woke up this morning (3 hours away from my hunting land). I'm definitely buying another one. He said I could get as many as I want, so thought I would post it on this forum in case anyone wants to get in on the deal. Happy Hunting (and picture viewing)!

Guy's be careful about buying from someone you don't know. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is. No offence to Full Throttle he/she could be a very good person doing a good deed but he only has 11 post and he is offering to sell camera's to everyone that he is getting from a friend. Smells like a scam to me.

    Proceed with caution.

No scam guys, but I do appreciate your caution. These are also not stolen. I used to be a police officer and now run a business. I am in an industry that interacts with the hunting industry and that is how I get them. I'd be happy to send you my credentials via a private message for you to check out if you'd like. As far as only having 11 posts, that is because I just joined today. I didn't even know this website existed! I posted a pic on a different forum on this site to see if I could get some help identifying a picture of what I believe is a buck very close to the camera. The person that commented on it mentioned how great he thought these cameras were too. That got me thinking. Just trying to be a nice guy, I guess, but I completely understand the whole scamming piece. No skin off my back if you don't want to get one. I went to AT&T and got a SIM card for free. They charge me $5/month with no setup fees and I can cancel anytime. I'll be canceling at the end of November or December. I think I can get 200 pics sent to me a month for that price but they also have a $10 and $15 plan if you want to get into the thousands of pictures sent a month. I chose the $5/month plan because I didn't know how well it was going to work. After seeing this and other pictures come through only a day after I got done setting it up I think I'll be changing it to the $10 plan. I set the camera up so that it would only send me 15 pictures a day, but will be changing that to 30/day under the higher plan. Again, no worries here if you don't want to buy one. I was just super excited. Still waiting for a picture of a big buck to appear though.

I just sent Justin, one of the administrators of this site, an email directly to vet me that I'm not a scammer. I asked him to post something here to indicate that. I'm new to using a forum (this is actually my first one). Just thought I was doing a nice thing. Didn't realize this would cause me so much heat. My reputation is worth more than passing on a deal. By the way is a $50 savings really considered "too good to be true"? Again, no skin off my back if you don't want one, but please at least be considerate!

Thank you to Justin (administrator) for moving this post to a better forum location for me. Hopefully now I won't be considered a scammer :)

Honestly the quality doesn't seem that great to me. Like Slugger said I think my MPE5 has a little bit better quality. I believe the Covert Special Ops Code Black does the same cell phone thing. Not trying to rain on your parade Full throttle just throwing that out there. I love cameras that send you the picture, only if I could afford one!

Boly manufactures cameras for a couple/few of the commercial companies out there....including HCO Scoutgaurd/Uway, KeepGaurd, and DLC Covert. I am almost sure they make at the Bushnell/Simmons/Tasco cams to(sure looks like their design). What you get from buying from the US namebrands is much faster warranty replacement/much better customer service compared to having to ship it to China(added cost) and wait. The companies here also have their own Quality Control standards, and firmware variations to cater to their customers wants/needs. Anyway - even Reconyx has their cameras(parts) manufactured in China and then just put them together and load up the firmware here in MI and WI. The guy is prob'ly just offering a decent deal on what is likely a decent camera.
    * btw - The pics sent to a phone(or a computer) via wireless/mms, suffer in quality from file compression...the pics do look better off of the SD card.

Thanks. I'm not particular to any brand. I'll have to check out the Covert. I just know I need to get some more that send the pics via text. Gotta love technology!

I am still here posting my Moultire pics. There seem to be a couple diehard stealthers on here too.
