These teams certainly have something in common...neither has a QB that can throw a pig skin with any type of consistency unless they are dinking and dunking short throws...and both of these guys were 1st round picks
Timmy Football just wins, it ain't pretty, but he get it done..... Granted, he hasn't been on the winning side of any GREAT competition yet, but the guy is a football player!!! You gotta like the GRIT he has in the game.

It's funny to me that Tebow seems to get all the credit when the Broncos win. In 3 of their recent victories the DEFENSE gave up 15 points or less in CLOSE games. Does Tim play defense too??? Let's see what happens when they play a team that has a good offense.
He is the QB, Green Bay defense may be the best in America yet Rodgers gets the cred. Same w Brady back when NE D was scary good! It's the story of football period, nothing new w Tebow
I don't see why this guy is being viewed as the second coming of Christ - so far he's sloppy at best. For now he has luck on his side.
Trent Dilfer got zero credit for the Ravens winning the super bowl. In fact, most people probably don't even remember he was the QB of that team. Just typin'. Rodgers and Brady get/got credit because they are really, really, really, good.
31st in passing is "The best defense in America"? Hes having the GREATEST statistical season in NFL HISTORY? You alright man?
Because the defense gave up less then 1000 yards rushing, recovered 26 fumbles and gave up the least amount of points...ever. Just typin'
I think he was just making a potential analogy as to what could be a case. Tebow continues to just...win. He won in college in the country's best football conference and now, with the team handed over to him, he's 4-1. Call him sloppy, nontraditional, boring to watch, whatever you want; at the end of the day he's winning games and inspiring his teammates in a way that Orton couldn't. By then end of the year, I'd say Tebow will lose 3-4 for games as a starter but, if that's the case, they still probably make the playoffs out of that division at 8-8. I hope he keeps playing well and doing things that people say he can't. (Of course, still would like to see him complete a few more passes )
Lets see...Trevor is a college student. Thursdays are a big party night in college. Yup, Trevor was still drunk when he posted this morning.
Its a TEAM Sport. Timmy T impacts his team in positive ways and they win together like good teams do, whatever it takes.
LOL Vito called it, but I was trying to refer to their SB team last year. To call that defense bad is just as far of a stretch than to call this current one great. I understand that Brady/Rodgers were great (like best ever great lol), just trying to make the point that the leader of the team often gets credit for wins (ESPECIALLY WHEN HE LEADS LAST SECOND COME BACK WINS). Dilfer sucked as you said, and that was an all time great defense. I had a bad example, and slept on it for 9 hrs today, but I stand by the point that team leaders should and do get credit for the wins. I don't think Tebow really is viewed as the second coming of christ, just a christ follower (rare and revered) who finds a way to win regardless of his downfalls. To discredit 4-1 as a starter AFTER losing Marshall from the team Orton found several ways to lose with is silly...just as silly as claiming Tebow is an elite QB. Dude has some unorthodox ways about him, but keeps winning some how. He is a great guy, has never showed anything but winning on any level of football his whole life...so until his throwing arm drives the nails into his coffin I will continue to say that he is impressive because you I or no one else on this earth has ever seen anything to prove otherwise (YET lol).
