    September, not only does it mean Bow season is only a month away....but the striper fishing is unreal in New England!!!! Can't beat this time of year

    Great fish! I can only dream..... :D

    I thought you fellows up there called them "rock fish"? :) I've got a good friend in this area that moved from Maryland. He STILL calls them rock fish.

    Ha ha always been striper to me going out again today hopefully have some new pics to add and a bigger one. There is only so long these fish hang around. Rite now they are slamming the pogies and if you find them you will find the huge bass and blues!!!!

    Nice stripers! October is the better month for NY but spring is also great.

    And if you have a mind to you can slam some salmon on the Salmon River. BUT... more fun yet is to wait until late October when the salmon run is all but ended and you can catch big browns and steelhead feasting on salmon eggs.
