I only get to hunt 2 days a week Wednesday Sunday "work sucks" early in the season in north eastern IL everything is still green temp in the 50s to 70s "but going to change quickly. is there any scent I should be putting out a week or 2 b4 season start? if so what should the be I tried per-rut scent didn't have any luck until late October when the weather started to change. wasn't sure on other peoples opinion on Brands of sent an How, when, how often, and where to apply. H.S Kickin Stik or any preorbital scent. Easy to apply and it makes more sense(no pun intended) Most deer will work the over hanging branch. I've used this tactic for a few years now . I've had multiple bucks and does come to the Lickin Stik . I don't make the scrape, the bucks do that for me.
