I just got back from sending both my cameras back to the manufacturer's. My stealth I550 is being replaced and my Non-Typical Deer Cam DC-100 is being upgraded to a Cuddeback Capture Flash. I wonder which one i will get back first? :d Also, i have another camera that stopped working, a Moultrie. I bought it from Cabelas in 2006 so i emailed them to see what they could do. They emailed me back (after only 15 minutes) and said that since its a Moultrie brand that i have to do everything through Moultrie, they included a copy of my receipt though (even though they only had my email address and name...kudos to them, i didnt even ask for it). I sent Moultrie an email yesterday to see what they could do for me. Hopefully they treat me well like Cuddeback and Stealth has.
Nice, sounds like you'll be looking forward to the mailman. Keep us posted on Moultrie's customer service, I'm curious.
I haven't got ahold of Moutlrie yet. I sent them 2 emails, but im going to call them today. I got an email from Cuddeback saying that they shipped a new camera back to me yesterday. No word on Stealth yet.
Very nice! I had a capture for a little while to play with. Nice camera. Sounds like good customer service as well.
I called them today. Useless. Basically told me all i could do was throw my camera away. They cant fix it and wont offer any upgrades. They never returned my three emails either. I really wanted an m-40 but this is just rediculuous. The guy on the phone told me that the camera is like a computer, and once a new version is made the old one becomes obsolete. That's when i knew this guy was a clown.
You should looks into building your own trailcams (homebrew). It is very rewarding and you are your own customer service rep. And it's cheaper than buying new ones.
It costs about $160.00 to build a camera and it takes quality pictures compared to cameras made by companies.
