The officer was killed on the first call on her first day on the job. She was sworn in just hours before she was killed.
My first instinct was like WTF, RickJames, but then I remembered his posts are not like that historically. I was just clarifying.
This. Didn't have time to type right then and hitting "Like" didn't seem appropriate. Very sad indeed........thoughts and prayers are with them and their families. Stay safe out there Brett!
I just read the news of the female officer who lost her life. First day on the job, unbelievably sad.
I read about the shooter over at heavy.com makes no sense that a higher ranking military man would do this. Mental illness does not know rank I guess.
Once again, thanks guys. One of the other officers shot was sent home today. The other remains in stable condition but he is still very badly injured, and his life will likely never be the same. This is the second time in two years Ive been at a fellow department officer's funeral and listened to the end of watch call. Very hard to not get highly emotional. I saw this on one of the police accounts that I follow on FB. It's so sad that such bad things happen to such good people
