I respect and am thankful for his service in the military. I wish comfort to his family. None of us are without faults and none of us should be career politicians. Including war heroes.
Feel bad for the family, I've lost over half my dad's side of the family to cancer and it sucks. As far as anything else, oh well. Any politician thats been there for 30 yeare shouldn't be celebrated. They stopped serving the ppl that voting them there long ago and political office is not meant to be a career. And as far as military service, well while honorable it doesn't give a free pass for criticism for the remainder of a person's life or actions they do or do not do. And seeing as I'm a vetern guess that makes that statement true, right? Is that how it works? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Sad for his family but, If death is the only way to get career politicians out and finally get some change, the 1 down and 534 to go. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
So...politics has reared it's ugly head on a bow hunting forum. I bow hunt to get away from all this and enjoy nature. I say we keep politics on political forums and keep this forum for debates about the best broadhead, arrow shaft or model of archery equipment. But...that's just the opinion of a old Hunter. this is the Water Cooler...where Germ, Sota, Wiscohunter, Covey, Uncle John, myself and some others come to pontificate and pretend we know the answers to all the worlds' ills. Respectfully, Old Hunter - if you can't handle it; stay in the other sections. PS: Germ is almost always wrong. Almost.
He does, from a van down by the river. His interactions with the reclusive river hippies while hunting are legendary Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I have to ask did you do a scan of the watercooler? There is nothing bow hunting related in this section, it is like walking into a strip bar and complaining about seeing a naked woman.
Yes a few days a year, my kids play fall soccer and I am also coaching basketball team this fall, so I get out when I can. My issues is I only shoot big bucks and unless you are lucky that takes time. I simply don't have the time to put in to do it right. The last 3 years I have lost both in-laws and been taking care of two house holds. I am now down to one, which has 9 fruit trees, strawberry patch, asparagus patch, 5 acres to mow and numerous trees to trim. I also work a bit, I try to keep that to 40 hours a week. These two peek my interest, but it's about time. I also own 300+ acre farm in Michigan where I hunt. I have other things I want to do right now. I have 176'' hanging on the wall, I doubt I will ever come close to that in Michigan, I have enough big ones hanging on my wall. Perhaps when my kids are gone, I will sell this farm in Michigan, neighbors just went for 6000.00 an acre, mine has river bottom and theirs does not. I have a desire to hunt Iowa, so when I sell the farm I plan in throwing away my phone, and go hunt for a few years again, like I like to hunt. My son and I bought dirt bikes, so we are doing that also.
