Agreed, If I sell it, I will always miss it. But, there are a lot of other things that I would like to do too. And I still have another farm. My oldest son is eaten up with fishing and he and his wife are moving back to Iowa and will only be an hour away. I would love to surprise him and buy a really nice fishing boat and spend lots of quality time with him in it. That would be a great start.
Love this!! your Son is very fortunate to have you as a father. I wish more parents could be like this. Get involved with their children’s interest (regardless of age) to be able to spend more time with them, rather than expecting the children to be into your interest. Awesome stuff brother, I hope good fortune smiles upon thee!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks for the kind words. I'm actually kind of excited for the next chapter. That farm has been a huge part of my life for 13 years. Lots of blood, sweat and tears out there. Lots of laughs too. Who knows, I certainly haven't sold it yet.
Well, things are heating up on this deal. I have a few guys that seem to be very serious. Three that I know are wanting to come take a look as soon as possible and a small group that is working on forming an LLC right now to make a formal offer. One of the lookers today is showing up with an offer and presenting it if they like what they see. I'm in no rush, but its amazing how fast the word spread. I think I now have contacts in at least 6 different states. This big buck thing has gotten completely insane. Good for me I guess! I definitely have mixed emotions about selling.
Yes I bowed out, thanks for the pictures and info. A lot of interest, hell I would ask 5000.00 an acre, LOL
Thanks for taking a look. We could of had a lot of fun! I would have put you up in my home all Fall! Or, until my wife kicked you out. Or, kicked us both out.
If he wore his pink t-shirt, that is a very distinct possibility. A very sexy man indeed. And, I don't even like men. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
