Oh crap, what have I done? I sold the Marquis last night. I plan on buying a new bow with the funds. I have shot the new bow and I really like it, but will I like it as much in a couple of weeks? that Marquis is a fantastic bow and has served me quite well. I hope the new ride does as well.
As a IBEP and IHEA instructor I can buy a new Quest bow at a great price. So I'm getting a new Quest Primal. It is smooth, quiet, and fast. Faster than the Marquis. At least my impression of it is. There was no chrono involved so it could just be that I want it to be faster. Also I shot a 60-70 lb. bow. I'll be ordering a 50-60. I kept my Spot-Hogg and Limbdriver, as well as my Alpine quiver and the Doinker Jeff was nice enough to send me. All that will go on the Quest. I'd imagine I'll be needing some new arrows also. Although maybe not, I'll have to wait and see. The Marquis was backed down to 64 lbs. and I'll max out the Primal. So my 29 1/2" Beman MFX 340 shafts may do just fine.
I hope this works out. I'll post pics when I get the new one dressed up.

I defiantly want to see some pics. If you liked it the first time you shot it I'm sure you'll like it after two weeks.

I was telling the wife last night that if I hadn't bought my bowfishing boat last week, I'd be holding your Marquis right now:o

And congrats on the new rig!

Is that the one with the snazzy new paint job of a black riser fading into the camo even before it reaches the limb pockets? If so... that's a VERY neat camo pattern!

I also like their new integrated roller guard/cable guards as well.

Good luck with your new baby!

If you are going to shoot 64 lbs, you should buy a 50-60lb bow and max it out. I get 64lbs out of my 50-60lbs maxxis, a bow performs best when its maxed out, just a thought. Good luck with the Quest I have heard nothing but good things about them.

Thats exactly why I'm ordering the Primal with 50-60 # limbs.

I have a friend who bought a Quest bow (not sure which model) a few months ago. He loves it.
I hope it works out for you.

I love my Quest that I bought last summer. I have the HPS 33 and have thought about trading it in for one of the new '10 models. I just love the G-Fade they put on them too.
I am sure you will enjoy your new bow.

Unfortunately I can't get one with the G-Fade camo at the special price. I'm planning on ordering black if its available. Its that or Realtree HD which would match my accessories.

I just got off the phone with Quest. I can get it in G-Fade camo. Now I have to decide if I want that or black.

Yeah, thats what I'm thinking too. I'm just waiting on IBEP to call me back with a drive out price. Primal G-Fade, and a G5 metapeep + shipping. I will place the order today I think.

(This may make it hard for me to kill a turkey this year. I've only got the longbow now.)
