He everyone! My buddy just finished editing the buck I harvested in December. I basically see what you all see in the footage because I didn't want to open up any more of my windows in the ground blind because I didn't want to get busted. I was hunting in a tree stand near this spot the week before and saw a big 8. So when this buck walked into view I assumed he was the buck I had seen the week before and I about had a panic attack. After I reviewed the footage I realized this was a different deer that I had photos of. A nice 2 1/2 year old. Turns out, the deer I shot wasn't either one of the deer I thought I shot. I think the buck I shot was actually a 3 year old. The 2 1/2 year old buck is actually a 9 pointer. It wasn't until after I finished the video that I put it all together but oh well. I went back through all my photos because I had never seen the buck I shot before. I zoomed in and found that I actually did have a couple of photos of this buck but I overlooked them because the sun is glaring in the pictures. This was the first decent buck that I got a chance to draw back on all season so I was glad to take the shot. The property I was hunting on was only fifteen acres. The hunt was on a Sunday afternoon. I got in late because twice a month on Sundays at 2pm we lead a worship service for our local nursing home. So I got in late, bumped some deer, but it all came together before dark. I'll let the video do the rest of the talking, enjoy!
Very nice! Congratulations on a great hunt and a great buck. You gave credit where credit is truly due and that, brother, is awesome!
