Hi guys and Gals, heres my first attempt at a self filmed hunt. I spotted these girls feeding on figs that had fallen from the trees and had a go at getting in close. they fed in to about 30yards from me and I had a crack, it certainly isn't as easy as it looks. Im hooked on the self filming now and hopefully ill have some more for you all soon.
    Thanks

nice try...but this is very bad angle to shoot on deer! Why did not you shoot while she was turned sideways?

Yes i agree and i should have waited for a more broadside shot, the camera angle makes it look a lot worse though, in my sights i had quite a decent shot i thought at the time. It would have worked out a lot better I agree.

Filming and hunting at the same time becomes an addiction! I love filming my setup each year and all the practice and work I put in on my hunting areas. Always makes for some great videos. I would agree with the others, make sure he turns a little more broadside next time! But we all have made those shots (Especially me) and missed plenty of times so its not big deal really.
