Sometimes I think people give their sight too much credit for how accurately they shoot. Any sight will work as long as it holds a pin. Micro adjustments and other bells and whistles might help but in the end it's the shooter that makes the sight work. Not the other way around. Of course, that opinion only applies to shooting. When it comes to durability in the field, some sights have clear advantages over others.
I have recently switched to the Trophy Ridge V5 React. This sight has the 3rd axis level, and light. It is durable and easy to set-up and dial in. The React technology moves the bottom 4 pins all together with gearing, so you dial in your 1st 2 pins and it sets up the other 3 automatic, of course you tweak it a bit as you get further out to get even more accurate. The V5 is a vertical pin setup, so all the pins line up behind each other, thus giving you a very clear and open sight picture (comparable to a single pin sight picture), this has allowed me to detect smaller branches and twigs that before could hide behind the pins. I have used Trophy Ridge sights for years and have found them to hold up to even the worst abuse ( like dropping my bow from a tree onto my wife's shoulder, long story.... she was NOT happy). This sight should run around $150.
I love the react series. Had the original react 5, and loved it. Bought the react one. Set it at 20 then 40, then walked out to 100, and right on target. React technology works great.
