You know me Jason, i wasnt trying to humiliate anyone.

Quite the opposite actually, that was probably the FIRST time he has ever been "scoffed at" for such behavior. I learned ALOT of lessons when i was a new poster, on ethics and conduct and such.

I was just giving an opinion.

Last time I got high, I went home with two strippers. We stayed up and partied for three days straight, left the house with $1000 and came home broke, LOL!!!!

Not singling you out Siman. I want to see this site continue to grow and we will see posts that might not be on the up and up. The nest thing we can all do is advise why it is not a good idea and advise why. I do not agree with it one bit but I have been guilty of having a couple. I realized to stay alert and maintain control that I shouldn't drink. The OP is obviously new to the site and possibly trying to find a way to fit in. If this is the case his methods might need to be shifted so we can all give some constructive reasons no to do it.

Sometimes, not 'lecturing' someone on bad behavior isn't a sign of tolerance.... but rather, it's a sign of weakness. ;)

Nothing wrong with a constructive lecture. There was the kid on another site in a forum far far away that took a long shot on a Turkey and boasted. Some reached out to him in a lecturing manner that was positive and he became a better hunter for it.

Last time I got high was 17 years ago. I got hungry, ate a bag of cheetos and woke up with a stomach ache the next morning with no stripper memories and all my cash in my wallet. I didn't get screwed but I think I gained a couple of pounds:mad:

Siman, you should be a Doctor. The way you deliver an opinion is like no other.
Patent; what's are the test results?
Doctor Siman; your going to die, now get out of my office, and find Doctor that deals with dying people and be his or hers patent.
    I kid ikid. lol
    Good times!

So true, Christine ... so true..

As far as drinking on stand ... you have to be ignorant to think that is an ok idea ..... aye yaye yaye.... it has been proven over and over again that 1 beer will affect your driving .... so if you drink while hunting near me, I hope you fall outta your treestand before you hurt me or someone I love...

I agree with Siman on this one. Though, why do we have to pull a flaming skeleton riding a motorcycle into this conversation. Do you find it ok to be on fire and driving a motorcycle? I do NOT! I also find it highly dangerous to swing around a burning chain, just asking to hurt yourself or someone else.

Forums are just that forums and, I personally think it's BS when people start talking (or should I say typing) smack from the hidden comfort of your own homes.

With the talk of being buzzed on the stand, I for one do not smoke or dip but have and, if you gave me a cigarette while I was up in a stand, I would NOT be able to climb down. Dip is not as bad but I also get a good buzz from that.
Point being, if your doing either on stand your body is getting something out of it. If you dip a lot or are a two pack a day chain smoker you don't realize the effects so much but you do it because it's relaxing you.
It's much the same for having A beer and I've done it. After a hot day on stand or working the property I've taken a cold one up with me in my pack. I'll also take an hour to drink that beer and just like a cigarette or dip it relaxes me.
We in America tend to do everything bigger and better than the next and that goes for drinking as well but not all of us drink to get drunk. I drink wine with lunch a lot but you'll never see me drunk.

Like all of us I've also driven home very tired from work and I think that is very dangerous.
