To you as well! Happy Valentines

I was traditional and had flowers, chocolates and a coffee shop gift certificate delivered to my wife's office today. But, I am recovering from a second round of Covid and we can't even be in the same room. lol. So, our Valentines is a non-event. Can't even take her to dinner tonight. Hope to be able to by this weekend.

Hubby is a card reader so . When he reads a bunch of cards he likes he buys them. Puts them away in his card stash and pulls them out as holidays arrive. My diet restricts me, he won't eat in restaurants, I can't until after March 7 anyways. So I baked him 5 dozen raisin, oatmeal, walnut cookies and a granny Smith Apple pie. Put a few lottery tickets in his card. He bought me a lot of lottery tickets and a slim Jim. Yes I love slim Jim's even though they are bad keto...it was soooo good! lol. I spent some time with grandsons this afternoon a great day. Though had to keep some distance and masked with the kids ...trying to avoid Covid before my test.
    Thanks for well wishes guys...

Best card I ever got was from my little girl that she made, I saved all of those in a cigar box. My speech at her wedding featured a card she made for me. It was what I considered a legal binding contract where she promised to always to be my little girl.

I just hate how commercialized it is but thats every holiday now i guess. Wife wanted a new living room set 2 yrs after we bought our existing one. She said this could be our anniversary and valentines since they are only a week apart. I took her up on that. Still got her some choc covered strawberries that the produce patch store up the road makes. Shes a happy gal so i guess that means i can be happy

I don't know what kind of phone you have but I have a screen recorder on my iphone, it is located where the flashlight app, airplane mode, etc. stuff is at. I had to go into the "control center" to enable it. I can tap it and it records whatever is on the phone screen, with or without sound, until I tap it to turn off again. It is a great way to make videos of facetime calls with the grandkids. After you stop it from recording, it sends it to your videos file.
