Well, the soybeans have really taken off here in PA. They're already between 4-6 inches and the deer are hitting them. Last night I was fortunate to see a buck and doe:d . The buck was one we have seen on the trail cam (unfortunately he's only a spike) . But, he might get chased off this fall then again the age structure for deer in WMU 4B of PA SUCKS!!! Oh well, its about putting meat on the table for us Perry County rednecks.

??? It seems like with the antler restrictions you should have a half way decent age structure. Maybe lot's of poaching in the area?

Yes LOTS of poaching, and we've only had antler restrictions for a few years 1-3 I think. Honestly, I don't care I'm fourteen I kill anything with a heartbeat

Well the farm field that I hunt over that is my best stand is soybeans. If we don't get some decent rain around here soon there won't be any soybeans left! :bash: :bash: :bash:

Yea they are hitting the beans now for sure. I've been taking the long way around the valley by our farm just so I can pass all the soybean fields. I've been finding a lot of reasons to go to the store lately, around say..dusk:d

Yeah NRK9606, they're hitting the clover too! You say 2C? I'll have to see where 2C is then.

Antler restrictions have been in effect for 7 years. This will be the 8th season. You are a kid so the spike is legal.

Also, don’t complain about the poor age structure while at the same time appear to be ok with the TONS of poaching that goes on and the “redneck” mentality of filling the freezer. It’s one or the other.
