In my past I was part of a seed buying group. My background is managed intensive grazing and i've been involved with food plots for 23 or 24 years. That being said here is what I looked for in purchasing seed.

Does the company sell seed or do they offer services and expertise in every bag of seed they sell?
Do they have high germ seed that is recently tested?
    Do they have reliable shipping?
Do they have new and state of the art products?
Do they have certified crop advisors/nutritionists on staff?
Do they have their own testing programs, experimental/test plots, and do they grow seed in various soils and conditions?
Do they clean their own seed?
    Is their seed innoculated?

Anyone can sell seed but if the seed one buys from a company doesn't grow or if there are other technical questions, do they have experienced staff with expertise in wildlife seed and nutrition?
