I finally got a chance and tried the muddy mount (thanks Timcon!). It works especially good because I don't use the quiver holes to mount my quiver. Still gotta play around with it a little but I like it!

I got both my bow and shotgun GoPro mounts from CaptureYourHunt.com. The bow mount is pretty good, but as you can imagine, there can be quite a bit of vibration when you shoot. The shotgun mount worked great for a few hundred rounds but then the flat adhesive mount started to turn and it started to bend when I tried to move it back in place. Owell, but have a look at the bow mount.

Found a picture of the simple mount I made for mine.

It is a 1/4-20 bolt holding the camera to the L bracket and then another bolt with a fender washer on each side and a rubber fender washer against the riser on each side held tight with a wing nut. Camera can be facing the shooter or in the direction of the shot.

put a contour camera on your stabilizer & put the GoPro on the tree facing yourself.
