Fair enough....but my opinion is based on first hand conversations with people from the mentioned states. And no it's not all of my my business acquaintances or friends...only some of them, but is is a higher percentage of people within this sub group than people I come in contact with in a similar fashion that live in Colorado or California. But nothing statistically meaningful in such a small sampling. (maybe I just have a high percentage of friends/acquaintances from the south that are jerks) Hooker, may be right...I have no way of proving or disproving....there may be just as much racism in these other states as in the South but they are just not upfront about it. It is not my intention to turn this into a "racism" or "bash the South" thread. I merely shared an observation about a faction of people that I have come in contact with from the South that I find ironic and a bit humorous.....they are upfront about some of their racists attitudes and at the same time are so proud to identify themselves with the SEC and glorify it as the best football conference in the Nation. Its kinda like some of the religious right that complain about all the sex and violence in the movie they are watching on a DVD they just rented or purchased.
Nah man I understand what you are saying. I'm not like mad or anything- its the whole thing where it's hard to depict what the person is saying when you are just reading texts. It's all good! Happy hunting!
I'm from the south, an SEC fan , but I'm not racist! I hate everybody. Black trash, white trash, oriental trash, Latino trash, there all trash. If you don't try to earn what you get and work hard to better your life or the life of your family and expect someone to give you a high quality of life you are trash no matter the color. Too many people of any color think they deserve more, truth is , you don't you deserve anything, you earn everything. Just read another post about idiocracy. If we let the trash get what they "deserved" they would die out or better themselves. Rant done.
