Eh...not really because I know there are plenty of idiotic LSU fans, but at least LSU fans are not near as annoying as Alabama fans, nor as cultish.
I do a lot of business in Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. I have many business acquaintances and friends throughout these States. I understand and appreciate how passionate the Southeast is about college football. What I find ironic (and sad as well) in so many of the people I come in contact with that are so proud of the SEC and it's talent level compared to other conferences, is that many of them are also the most racist people I have ever come in contact with. Not saying this attitude represents the entire SEC fan base, but there is certainly a faction within it.
I mean, it's not much of a stretch to conclude that many football fans in the south are racist of course, I don't think racism is any worse in the south as it is in any other part of the country, the south is just more upfront with it
I agree with Hooter on this, Blacks in the north seem far more tolerant of white people than they do in the south.
Like Hooker said, I know that a large majority of fans are racist but I believe a lot of people assume people in the South are automatically racist which is far from the truth. I never said your opinion was wrong by any means at all
