Agree Germ, you ALWAYS spike it in that situation imo. They had their chance...and it was a great game for sure. The NC should be a good game, ND is pretty good and obviously AL is very good. I'm not a fan of either team, but I wouldn't mind seeing someone other than Alabama win, so I guess I'll root for ND.
Great 4th quarter, I missed the previous 3 quarters. In the heat of the moment **** happens. These are young men. Hats off to both teams!!
Hell of a game. Momentum shifted SEVERAL times. I cooked a huge pot of chili and deer burgers and hosted 3 UGA fans and 5 Bama fans at our house...I wore a UK shirt to stay neutral lol. Very interesting atmosphere. McCarron was off and rattled for a good portion of the game. Amari Cooper is just a freak that saved his *** several times. Murray outplayed him for sure. In the end, Alabama won for the exact reason I thought they would just in a much closer game than I anticipated. The two headed monster at tailback is tough for any team to contain for 4 quarters. 330ish yards between the two is just ridiculous. ND will need some lucky breaks as UGA caught early to keep it close IMO. One HUGE play was the "tipped" ball on the pass interference play. Flag thrown, but then waved off as the ball was "tipped". Replay showed the ball was clearly not touched. Should have been 1st down, instead they have to punt (which was blocked and ran back for a touchdown)....was a huge swing in the game and overall momentum for a while.
Love seeing the puppies lose at the end like that. It just makes my day. Looks like Alabama is catching up with the Gators as the class of the SEC (since the inception of the SECCG, of course).
Georgia blew it....but that dirty late hit on Murray would have earned that kid a fine in the NFL. NCAA needs to look at making some rule changes, that was a straight up helmet to helmet late hit, Murray was walking at that point.....sorry piece of ****
Might want to check your boy sticking his fingers in dee milliner's face mask trying to gouge his eyes out. A silly little push from milliner drew a 15 yard penalty. Princess Murray should learn to keep his head on a swivel, and the hit was not a penalty...the helmet to helmet should have been, but not the hit in general, as he was pursuing our guy who intercepted him.
