It is what it is... I know tOSU would beat the Domers. That's good enough for me. Besides that this weekend is going to be an all out elite recruit commitment fest for the bucks.

    It's at Ross-Ade next year.

I don't know who Gary was talking about, but I know Florida should be considered some of the worst fans. 7,000 fans to a BCS bowl 6 hours away? That is absolutely pathetic.

I guess they didn't want to waste their time or money on a game that wasn't worthy - a game with a team that had no business being there and couldn't possibly compete with the mighty gators. LOL

I smiled alot last night watching that debacle. College football it never lets you down :D

    Got ya :moose:

And I agree with your assessment of next year because it is hard to have a feel for the Vols next year with a new coaching staff and some early departures for the NFL.

    still a team full of
undisciplined thugs- Will is weeding them out.

Still have a scared QB- He was at times, but He will improve over the offseason or Brissett will win the job back.

Still have a coach that is over his head- with the improvement over last year, can't understand this statement. 2nd year head coach in one of the top jobs in the nation. I think he is doing a pretty good job so far.

    Pot, meet Mr. Kettle.

UF will be fine, although I don't share Meathunter's confidence in Driskel. He just doesn't have it mentally. He has all the physical tools in the world, but he should have showed some development between the FSU game and the bowl game. Heck, he had 15 practices, that's basically Spring ball. Bottom line is if UF had a better O-Line and a receiver who actually scared defenses Jacoby would be the starter, but this Florida team needed Driskel's legs to help win games.

UF's loss last night was more disappointing than anything. Prior to the FSU game, nobody, even Florida fans really knew how good they were. They were 10-1 and beat A&M, LSU, and USCe, but squeaked by Mizzou, ULL, and Jacksonville State. But then they rolled into Tallahassee and dominated the 'Noles, picked up several big recruits, and had all the momentum in the world going into the Sugar Bowl.

Then last night happened. Driskel hadn't improved, UF's secondary, best in the country, got carved up all night, and Florida had to play from behind big time, something they hadn't done all year. It was a lose-lose for UF from the beginning, though. Beat UL and you did what you were supposed to do. Lose and all hell breaks lose. Similar to Alabama - Utah a few years back.

I thought Florida was a 10-2 team at best going into the year (and that's with orange and blue shades on). Realistically, most thought of them as 8-4, MAYBE 9-3 if they could pull out a win somewhere.

Despite last night's loss, I'll take an 11-2 season from a team that had as many problems as these Gators had any day.

I don't know why it's such a shock to people that Florida got beat. I predicted it. Louisville is a decent team this year.
