I'm not going to argue that the academic standards are not lower in the SEC. But what gives the SEC the most advantage in CFB? The fact that most elite HS athletes are in the South. Sorry. The Big 10 will always lose the recruiting battles with elite HS athletes. What kid from Florida wants to go to Wisconsin?
No question. Absolutely 10000% agree. Athough we do pretty well in Florida typically. You should see Wisconsin's in state talent. It sucks donkey balls. We have poached our best players over the years from Ohio, NJ, Iowa, Illinois. Ohio has very good in state talent. Gary Andersen seems to be drawing from out west now. We will see how that goes long term.
I laughed. Yes, any dolt with a room temperature IQ should be allowed into a Big 10 University. Just like they are in the SEC. You have definitely exposed the Big 10 for the horrible, discriminating, elitist, high-brows that they are. I know a few guys that went to school in the south after getting average grades up here and they instantly became incredible students. Kind of ironic. Maybe it was the water. They still laugh about how easy it was to pull all 'A's down there. Why is that?
