I thought of you today as I watched the game and Brantly was going through the motions. Remember when I was on his jock and you gave me some things to ponder...well today they all came to light. I also had the thought that Weis could do a Brady Quinn down there...we will have to wait and see I guess. One things for sure, if an 8 win season and a bowl victory is a down year, well then sign me up...

Oh wait, I also root for a team in a down year, The Tide only won 10 games this year, beat the Co Big 10 Champ and had 2 loses to BCS schools...

    Already announced???

I remember Harbaugh talking trash about Michigan a few years back, did he not say some bad things about them. I know winning, or losing makes for short memories, but I could have swore he talked trash about ya'll

The things I have read all say Rich Rod is most likely gone and Harbaugh most likely to come in. Also heard Rich Rod is positioning himself for a Maryland and/or Pitt interview.

They need to keep RR 1 to 2 more seasons. From what I can remember, every program RR has taken over, he has started out slow and built a solid program. He has gotten better each year at Michigan, just like every other college he has coached. Let him coach at least one more season. RR is a GOOD coach.

His goose is cooked in MI, look I happen to like the guy, but he needs to go. This team was not ready to play today and has not been ready the last 3 games.

The defense although young got worse as the year went on. He wants to play the 3-3-5 scheme. 3-3-5 scheme does not work against good rusing football teams.

He got out coached today, I am RR supporter, but after today he needs to go. He coached like he did not want to be there. Play calling sucked, the middle of the field was open all day the way they were blitzing on first and second down. We threw to our TE once for 36 yds and never threw it again.

RR time is up in MI:rant:

The Big 10 is way overated as a football conference...the performances of the Wolverines and Spartans today were a flat out embarrassment. MSU was even ranked higher than Alabama...what a joke...they couldn't even put up a fight.

Ohio State will probably lose to Arkansas too.

    Yeah, yeah rub it in!

But I was happy to see that Alabama throttled MSU today. I only say highlights, but Richardson and Ingram looked like the beasts that they are. At the end of the day, I'll always pull for the SEC.

I really do hate to be too hard on Brantley. If he were terrible and at least showed some effort and passion it would be a different story. Take Jordan Reed, let's face it.. he's a terrible quarterback right now. But he embraces the position and what it means and flies around trying to make plays and brings passion and energy to the offense.

I'm sad to see the Urban era end, but excited about the future for Gator football. I think 2011 will be a transition year, and Muschamp will have the Gators competiting for National Titles in 2012. He's inheriting a lot talent, especially on defense, and it looks like he's putting together a great coaching staff. It's Great to Be a Florida Gator!
