    I will be going back in there saturday to try and locate my arrow. I couldn't find it Saturday evening. It should be right there, 16 yd shot clean pass through from high above, I expected it to be sticking out the ground.

    One thing is for certain, inspite of a full moon, very hot and humid weather, lack of camera activity etc, deer are going to do what deer do. All those things can and do play a part in our success but you have to be in the woods to make things happen. Sometimes you just got to throw that all out the window and go hunt. I have never sat this area in my life. I put my son in a stand that I had sat a few weeks ago and saw 3 deer. After he was set, I continued to walk and scout with my stand on my back and my bow in my hand. Within 200 yds of my my son i found a trail, 2 scrapes, 2 rubs all fresh and threw my stand up. It just felt right, instincts plus 30 years of this game will do that.
