I'm sure you've bagged enough in the past to have a slack year Steve , it'll all come together next year for you I'm sure .
It was great finally getting to meet you this Fall in Colorado , I'm so glad I've got folks like Yourself , Will and Tim to hook up with when I travel over there . Cheers Buddy for the time spent and have a great New Year to yourself and your Family :)

Enjoyed hearing about your hunts throughout the season...

We should still try to meet up for a cold beverage sometime in 2011!

It's a Sad time of the year to see seasons coming to a close, but that's when I trail cam for a month or so to get an idea on just what is left.

Next season is always just around the corner! ;)

Sounds like you had a pretty good season Steve! Congrats!! :)

The good thing about not killing anything is they will be bigger next year. Best of luck then. I'm in the sameboat zero kills this year.

Only another hunter can understand how you can consider a season, "good", without killing a deer. I just finished up the toughest season I've ever had. Actually, "bizarre" would probably be the best word to describe it. Still, I worked my butt off and there some good things that happened too. I learned a thing or two.

    Steve,

I tip my hat to you brother. When my season finishes (next weekend) I'll have some time to get to the post office. Keep an eye on your mailbox...

You did well! Thanks for sharing your year with us!

Thanks everyone!! I didn't make this thread to get a bunch of "you'll get one next year". Most realized that with your reply's, thank you. My only down side this year was not getting the buck I've chased for 2 years now but that's how It goes and that's bow hunting. I guess I never realized how much some of you enjoyed the story's and trail cam pics I have or had with my hunting the last few years. It's fun sharing that stuff. It's nice when you can upload a pic of your targeted animal or any animal for that matter when your successful In taking one and showing It on here and telling you all how It went down but I also like to share story's of ones that get away or of cool experiences that have happened while out In the woods. Most here know that It's not always about the kill with me but rather the experiences and what goes Into the hunt (hunts) Itself.

    Thanks again.
